At Crazy Crafts, we’re all about spreading joy and unleashing creativity. And when it comes to giving back, we believe in going BIG, bright, and bold with our Kids FUN Stuff! That’s why our recent visit to the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital in Parktown, Johannesburg, was nothing short of magical. With CiCi leading the way, our team set out to bring smiles, love, and a whole lot of crafting fun to some of our most special Besties.
Crafting Smiles, One Bestie Bag at a Time
Armed with our signature Crazy Crafts Bestie Bags, CiCi and the team made their way to the hospital, ready to brighten the day for every child we met. These bags weren’t just filled with our Kids FUN Stuff craft supplies — they were packed with potential. Potential for laughter, creativity, and moments of pure joy. Each child received their own bag, full with colourful and unique activities that flex little fingers, stretch their imagination and turn ordinary moments into extraordinary memories.
But it wasn’t just the kids who felt the love. The incredible nurses, doctors, volunteers, and caregivers at the hospital also inspired us with their absolute dedication and kindness. They’re the true heroes, making every day a little easier for the children and their families, and we were honoured to share this special experience with them.

The Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital holds a special place in our hearts. It’s a place where love, hope, and joy thrive, even in the most challenging times. During our visit, we saw firsthand how creativity can uplift spirits and strengthen connections. Watching our Besties dive into their Bestie Bags, creating colourful masterpieces with our festive pom poms, bells, felt and foam, glitter and more, reminded us of the simple yet powerful impact of taking time away from digital devices and spending quality time crafting together.
